The awfully big adventure about starstuff, pirates, mermaids, orphans…and finding home. Three young boys, kidnapped and sent to sea, know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, but precocious young Molly knows what’s inside – and that it must never fall into the wrong hands. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, the story playfully explores the depths of greed and despair… and the bonds of friendship, duty and love. This Tony-winning show upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan becomes a legend.
